I love creating/writing our family Christmas letter every year. I love sending out cards. I love receiving cards. I love getting mail and sending mail. We sort of whittled the list down this year. Usually we send over 100 cards out, but we decided to only send out 80. It was hard to make the list smaller, but was something that needed to be done.
Each year I try to make our letter a little different. This year I kept it simple and just used some describing words for each of us and highlights of things we have been doing.
So, if you did or did not receive our letter this year...here it is! I used the Rhonna Designs app to create most of the boxes. I made a QR code that directs people to our family blog. I then used Picmonkey to create this collage. I had our Christmas card printed at Persnickety Prints. I got a good deal because I ordered before the end of October. The cards also looked really great and they were delivered to my house within a few days of ordering!
Here is a picture of our cards...we got two different styles which was also fun! (Sorry the picture is turned the wrong way...)
I hope that people continue sending out cards. I love receiving cards and letters from family and friends all over! It is a great tradition that is worth the time and effort in my opinion.
Merry Christmas to everyone! 2013 was a great year for our family. We feel blessed and we are grateful for the Christmas season as a time to think about our Savior and all that he has done for us. We wish you all a very wonderful Christmas season and a fabulous year in 2014.
