Today, I was a happy gas pumper. Gas in KC is cheap! Unleaded in Independence, Missouri is $1.46. I filled up with premium for $1.64. I was able to fill my tank for $21.68. I was soooooooo excited when the pump stopped. "That is more like it," I thought to myself. When I was paying between $50 and $60 dollars (a week), going to the gas station was painful and depressing. Today, it felt good.
It is the little things in life. :-) Now I do not feel like I am paying $8+ a day to go to work...
Life is good in the midwest. I hope the prices stay below $2. That would be fabulous. Every morning when I drive to work I check the gas prices. I always think...today they will have jumped...but usually they have gone down and sometimes they have even gone down when I am driving home from work. Pretty exciting! Who knows if it will last...but for now I am happy.

I KNOW! Gas is cheap here in houston too! (although...I haven't seen it in the 140s yet!) I have to admit...it has me a little freaked out though...because when was the last time gas was this cheap? Dave and I were trying SO HARD to remember, and we both swear it was in highschool. ALMOST 10 YEARS ago!? Honestly, how does the price of gas fall, in only 2 months, to the price it was 10 years ago? CRAZY! But hey, I'll take it as long as it lasts! :)

Okay so I turned the TV on for a min tonight and Wheel of Fortune was on. They were introducing the contestants and guess who was on... Lolly!!! I about fell over thinking man I am sure there is more then one Lolly but she looked just like the girl we grew up with. Do you ever talk to her?
