Busy

I think the title of this post sums it up. Life has been busy for Ben and I. Ben went to South Carolina in the middle of September to see his brother graduate from army boot camp. That was an adventure for Ben and he got to hang out with my dad in Atlanta for a day watching football and chillin' on the couch. Ben has also been busy with scouts, camping and planning activities, etc. Ben's sister Savannah moved in to our house in the middle of August. She is working near our home and she is attending the single's branch in Platte City. It has been fun to have her around...she cooks and runs errands for us so that is fun! Everyone needs a Savannah.
I became an aunt twice in September. My sister Liz had a beautiful baby boy, Gram Davis Millard on September 11th. He is adorable and I love him very much. Ben's sister Cheyanne had a baby girl on September 20th, Jolie Anne Gregg. She is super sweet and cute. I got to hold for an hour straight at the hospital. She loves me already.
Last weekend I went out to Utah for General Conference, to see my Grandma, and to see my friends Kyleigh and Liz. I had a great time. I will post pictures soon. It was great to see my grandma. I love her very much. It was also nice to be back in Utah after four or five years. It is a nice place to visit. I had a great time running around with my friends.
I was at the Saturday morning session when President Monson announced that there would be a temple built in the Greater Kansas City Area! I was so excited and shocked. I cried for five minutes...just thinking about what a great blessing it will be to have a temple so close and the prayers that were answered. I feel very blessed and know that there will be a lot expected of the saints in this area and I look forward to the tasks with anticipation and excitement. This temple will be a great missionary tool and will bless the community also.
I got back Monday night and had to go to school Tuesday morning. It is hard to go back to school after being gone for two days...my classes did not behave very well for the substitute teachers so that did not make me very happy. Needless to say they were glad to have me back.
That is a mini-update of our lives. I will write more later about my trip and other things going...this weekend Ronnie and Kim are getting married...so the Bailey family will grow again!!
PS: I love fall. The colors, the smells, the food, the weather is cooling, I love my fall wardrobe! I just love it!
