Lip Sync 2008

As many of you know we participated in the lip sync party this year. (A family in our ward puts on a lip sync party every year and I have tried to get Ben to participate every year but he has never agreed, except this year...with the Jamiesons help we entered ourselves!) So...we chose a song, practiced, got our costumes together and were ready in a week. We checked out the instructional video on youtube for the Soulja Boy, superman dance. We practiced and had to add our own dance moves in and then we were ready for the big night. You have to perform to be able to go to the lip sync. So everyone does something. There were some crazy acts! It was a lot of fun. We did not think to have someone video tape our dance. There was a video camera set up so it is on film...but I am not sure when we will get a DVD of the party. So, when we came home I took pictures of Ben and then I caught him on tape reliving the experience. I think he had fun! (secretly of course). I am really proud of Ben, because I know that dancing in front of a lot of people is really not his thing. He really did it for me because he knew how much I wanted to go. He is the best!
