Easter was really great this year. We had everyone over to our house. The entire Bailey crew showed up! Paula suggested that we have a nice big breakfast for dinner...so that is what we did. We had waffles, hashbrowns, bacon, eggs, and juice. We had all of the toppings for the waffles and it was all so yummy! The kids went on their HUGE easter egg hunt. They found all of the eggs (hopefully) and the eggs were filled with coins. (Lucky kids) Then, the boys went out to the garage to find their hidden peeps. Paula handed out the girls Easter Bonnets. They were super cute. We were supposed to wear them on our little hunt for our prize. Mandi came up with a cute scavenger hunt around the house and yard for us each to find our present. It was a lot of fun! Ben took pictures while I went around. It was super cute.
The children played outside with the dogs and down in the basement with our toys. The adults sat around and talked and teased each other. We watched the kids rip into their easter baskets and check out all of their new treasures. They were really excited. Jayla got a huge coloring book and that kept her busy for the next thirty minutes. Ikia wanted to play charades with us. So, we told her what to act out and she acted them all out. It was really cute. We had her act out grandpa, Ronnie, Mandi, and many other characters! It was a very memorable easter.
