The homecoming parade was on September 26, 2007. Both of my clubs participated in the parade. German club went all out. I had a lot of dedicated students who wanted to win. We spent a few days after school making our signs and getting things ready. We threw pretzels to the people watching. The truck that we used had a PA system so we blared German folk music and they had fun! (We did not win, National Art Honor Society won, but I thought we should have won for most spirit, my students were out of control!)

AFS club is the club that supports the six AFS students (exchange students) that we are hosting at Truman High School. We have 5 girls and 1 boy. Thailand, Hong Kong, Spain, Italy, Bolivia, and Switzerland are all represented. They are a lot of fun. They had fun making their signs and being in the parade.
It was short parade but we had a lot of fun making our "floats" and being in the parade. After the parade there was a rally for the game, it was fun.
