Another year has begun

Another year of teaching has begun for me. I am now in my fourth year of teaching and cannot believe how fast the time has gone, it seems like yesterday that I was in my first year of teaching. So many said that after your third year of teaching it gets easier, well...I am not sure that is the case for me. It has gotten harder and more demanding as time has past. I am a better teacher for sure, but there is nothing "easy" about being a teacher. I have put in loooong hours in the last five weeks and I hope that I will be able to streamline to cut down on extra time.
The time is worth the effort when students are succeeding and having fun learning German! It has been very rewarding to hear from students who have gone off to college and who are doing well at the college level, in large part because of what YOU have taught them. I am continually learning and trying new things and I find this to be very exciting. I know this year will be an adventure, much like the ones before. So, be on the look out for new postings.
