Celebrating Daddy!

Ben has started working out of town for the next six months. He is working in Tennessee. He left for the last week in October and got to come home on Friday, November 7th to celebrate his birthday with family and friends! The girls and I were so excited to pick him up from the airport on Friday evening. The girls squealed and ran towards Ben when they saw him exit the gate at the airport! He ended up carrying them both out of the airport, because they wouldn't let him go. I go a short hug at some point during the reunion.

While Ben was home in went to the Park Hill football game to see them win against Liberty North and advance. We went to get donuts Saturday morning and we went to the zoo. We took a family nap Saturday afternoon. We cleaned up leaves and played outside in the warmish weather.
Ben's birthday was on Sunday so we had a party for him with family and friends on Saturday evening. It was nice to see everyone who came and celebrate Ben.

For Ben's birthday the girls painted frames for him and decorated them and then I put their preschool pictures in the frames. They turned out awesome and I didn't really want to give them to Ben, because I wanted to keep them for myself...but they will be back home before I know it.

I took pictures of his party on my phone...I will have to add those later.
We had a great time together as a family. The time was too short and before we knew it we were taking him back to the airport. Ben is a great dad and our daughters adore him! They had so much fun being pushed around in the car and driving into the leaves! This fall has been beautiful and the weather has been nice enough to enjoy the smells and colors of fall. Glad we could be together this weekend!

Happy Birthday Ben!
