Mele Kalikimaka

We celebrated at the Bailey family celebration Hawaiian style this year! (I was really hoping that a family trip to Hawaii would be the ultimate gift...but it was not.)

Paula had the house decorated in the theme. She handed out candy leis. The girls put on grass skirts and fake long hair, the boys drummed, and they hula danced. The boys played a game with bananas and ping pong balls. We ate a traditional Christmas dinner off of themed paper plates...smart move since there are 30 of us these days. Cousins exchanged presents. Grandma kept passing out presents! The adults exchanged white elephant gifts. We made Paula cry by giving her a photo calendar. Max was home, so we were all there for Christmas! The big boys went out and raced their vehicles. I am not really sure who won...I think it depends who is telling the story.
It was great to be together as a big, wild, crazy bunch.
