Celebrating 4 * Four * IV

As Lydia says...she had a pretend birthday party with her friends. (We celebrated last Saturday and her birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year.) It was a "swimsoup" party.
We danced, popped bubbles, played with balloons, put on "sunscreen", laid on beach towels, ate picnic style, opened presents and played! (It was freezing cold outside...30 degrees or so)

It turned out to be a great party. Friends and cousins came! Grandmas came! Aunts and uncles came! It was great.

A friend from church made her cake. She has been asking for a rainbow swim suit with polka dots and a bow for months! I have not been able to find a rainbow swim suit with polka dots and bow...so I had her birthday cake made to be one. Kristi was able to make it perfectly and it was yummy cake.

As we tucked her in tonight, we told her that tomorrow she would be four. She was very excited. She said, "I will tell people I am four not three anymore!" Oh the excitement. She keeps saying that we are having a costume party...not sure when she thinks we are having that. Ben and I might be dressing up with her tomorrow for her costume party.
