Bailey Family: Ben had a birthday!

Ben's birthday is on November 9th. His birthday fell on a Saturday this year so we were able to party all day long! We had fun during the day and invited some friends over in the evening for party without kids. It was a lot of fun to eat some of Ben's favorite foods, talk, play games and laugh! (I gave Ben a haircut after these pictures were taken.)

I found a big girl bike for Lydia on Craigslist a week before Ben's birthday. Ben thought it would be funny for me to give Ben the bike for his birthday. I wrapped it in a blanket and gave it to Ben after he had opened his presents...of course Lydia was excited and told her dad immediately that the bike was for her. Ben is a great dad, so willing to share the spotlight to see his girls smile...they went outside and started riding the new bike...each taking a turn. (Ben took the pedals off the bike to make it a balance bike and once she has that mastered he will put the pedals back on.)
