Karma

One definition: action, seen as bringing upon oneself inevitable results, good or bad

So the other day I was cleaning around my house, mainly in the kitchen. The girls were playing around me, destroying everything as I cleaned and then they both went upstairs to Lydia's room. I thought wow, that is pretty cool that they are playing together in her room. It was a little glimpse of the future...

As I was doing the dishes, I was reminded of something I had read earlier in the morning from a fellow mom. She was talking about her daughter getting into nail polish and making a mess. I was thinking to myself, "I wonder where she keeps the nail polish.?" "How did she get her hands on it?" "What was this mother doing while the child was making a mess?" "Good thing we have baby proofed this place..."
Etc, lalalala

So, after I finished the dishes I headed upstairs to see what my angels were up to. They were so quiet, they must be enjoying a good book together or stringing beads on a necklace.

This is what I found...

Lydia had pulled her chair from her desk over to the dresser. She was busy putting diaper cream all over her face.

Lila struck a pose for this picture. But she did have some diaper cream on her left cheek...she must have left the scene of the crime once she realized someone was going to get in trouble.

I learned a few lessons on this day. 1. Never Judge! 2. Quiet = Trouble 3. Being a mom is awesome!

I love these moments! You want to be mad; but it's just too funny! Lydia is getting so big and looks like she has such a fun little personality. Just like her mom!

I have also had the quiet=trouble lesson. Very unnerving...
