Summer Fun

We have been having fun around here! Lydia is a great baby who loves to play and jump and be part of the action. Here are a few examples!

Ben bought Lydia this pool and had her skinny dipping in it in no time! Such a dad thing to do, but she seemed to like it!


This is swimming mom-style. It was a HOT summer day, so we took a dip in the backyard. The water was so warm it felt like a bath.
Lydia helped Ben build new shelves for our food storage. She does not like the sound of the saw but she does try to help drill.

We call this the "Car wash". Lydia loves to chew on cars and gives them a proper cleaning.
Lydia at play. I cannot believe how big she is getting. I feel like every time I go and get her in the morning or from a nap she has grown. She can sit all by herself, roll over (both ways), she loves to jump, she can scoot backwards on her tummy and in a circle, she is very interested in everything I am doing and wants to "help" me. She loves the dogs and smiles every time she sees them. She wants to pet them and loves to grab their ears...they are very patient with her and love to lick her! She is working on getting some teeth...drooling, rubbing her gums together, chewing on everything...but nothing yet. (I am in no hurry for this!)
