Bailey Campout

The first weekend of June always hosts the Bailey Anniversary Camp out. We have been doing this for six or seven years now. Ron and Paula decided that they wanted to spend their anniversary camping with their kids. So, we have gone camping every year! We go to a different place every year. This year we camped at Lake Manawa in Iowa (near Council Bluffs/Omaha). It was HOT the first day. Lydia jumped in her jumper hanging from a tree and we had a fan blowing on her at all times. (She was feeling pretty good.)

We went to the Zoo in Omaha on Saturday. We had a great time checking out all of the animals. We only saw about half of the zoo though. We are planning to return...it is an awesome zoo.


Lydia is having a great time! She doesn't even realize that there is a bear only feet away! But she is happy!

A nice thing about having a camp out near Omaha/Council Bluffs was the amount of extended family that was able to stop by. Great Grandma Bailey was able to come to the camp out and visit with us. This is a picture of three generations.
Lydia and Grandpa Bailey were able to spend some time together also.

Cousins. All but one are featured here in this picture. There are 10 total. The cousins played and played all day and into the night...it was fun to watch them.

I finally met Uncle Guy. After almost eight years of marriage, I had never met Ron's brother Guy. He stopped by on his motorcycle and I finally met him. After meeting him I now know where Ben get his mild manner and some of his looks. This picture also has two of Ron's sisters and his mom. Aunt Cheryl came from Colorado for the camp out. Aunt Gail came thirty minutes after this picture was taken.

A lot of Bailey's! Ben's family and cousins, aunts, uncles, grandma etc! It was fun to spend time with all of them! It was a great reunion.
