Quarter of a Year

I found this picture that my dad took while I was in labor with Lydia. My parents stopped by to see how I was doing and to give me this frog that they bought for Lydia. I saw it at a store a few weeks before Thanksgiving and they went and bought it for Lydia on black Friday. It is the perfect color and matches her room. I am trying to smile between contractions and I think I might be gripping because a contraction is about to start. Needless to say...this pictures brings back a lot of memories of that day...

It was all worth it...because now I have this little princess! Here she is with her "Frog Prince"
I cannot believe how big she is getting and that she will be three months old this weekend. She had her first cold and we were able to get through that...but not without the entire family getting the cold also.

Lydia will soon know that December through February is Wrestling season. Ben put my ear warmers on her head and called them her headgear. She was not impressed. I have other pictures of her screaming! Ben thought it was hilarious...I obviously thought it was cute enough to snap a picture. Ben loves his little girl...she will be tough because Ben already teases her.

Tummy Time! She has always had pretty great neck control...and she actually likes to be on her tummy.

Baby al natural! I wanted to make sure that I got a picture of her without all of her clothes on. I want to remember those little arms and chubby thighs (although she might be doomed with those for the rest of her life.) Lydia is just a sweet girl, who knows what she wants when she wants it. She is sleeping well and loves to study the world around her. I love her smile more than I could have ever imagined. She knows her mama and that is a special bond that is a gift from heaven. I am grateful for this opportunity to be a mom.
