Summer Begins to Sizzle Out

There are a few ways that I know that summer is coming to an end:

1. I celebrate my anniversary and birthday at the beginning of August...and I start school only a few short weeks later.
2. QT stops selling 32 oz. drinks for 49 cents. (A really great perk of KC)
3. I start having dreams about teaching, start making trip to the school to "check out" my room, and I start working in my classroom (off the clock of course...I like to call it volunteer work).

I head back to work on Monday for a week of meetings and preparation. School starts on August 17th.

(I cannot really complain...I have had a pretty great summer. BUT this is my "last" summer...all by myself. I will have to say goodbye to sleeping in and a few of my other favorite past times...but I am sure it will be worth it!)

I can't believe school is already starting there. It seems so early!

It will be worth it...most of the time. :)
