Changes

Our house is taking on a small transformation. Ben worked very hard while I was gone to "prep" the nursery...he scraped the ceiling, textured it, primed the walls to get rid of the RED room, and put in new trim. He did an outstanding job! This week we finished the rest. We painted the trim and closet doors, painted the walls and cleaned up our mess.

I am happy with how the room is turning out. We still need to paint the dresser and put it in the room, put up some decorations, get some curtains...etc.

Numerous people have said the following: "I cannot believe you are not finding out. I need to know, so I can paint the room and get everything ready." I just smile on the inside, because I feel like I am getting "everything" ready and I have already painted! I stand in the nursery and try to think about whether we will be kissing a little boy baby or a little girl baby goodnight...either one is fine with me and I am getting more and more excited! Wednesday night was fun for Ben and I. We were working together and once we got everything done we stayed in the nursery and talked and took pictures...the next morning I was excited to see the nursery again.

Other changes...my sister advised me to take pictures of myself every week. Here is a picture of me at 23 weeks.


I am now 28 years old. I am looking forward to this year of life because of the many changes that will be happening during this year. Here are a few pictures from my birthday.
