Time flies!

I am not sure where the end of February and all of March and the beginning of April have gone. These last eight weeks or so have flown by! I cannot really believe it.

Ben's sister Savannah got married at the end of February. It was a really nice ceremony and reception. We had a nice time seeing family and friends.

My brother had a birthday in March and my mom came into town for that. It was a fun visit! My mom made my brother this amazing quilt. She pieced it together and it has over 900 pieces, big and small. I am looking forward to having her back in KC for good. Oh! the projects we will do...!!!!

I flew down to Atlanta for spring break in March to hang out with my parents and Kathryn and to help them get their house ready to go on the market. I planted flowers, cleaned and helped move boxes. They even let me go shopping one afternoon while I was there.

My dad and I left on a Friday (from Atlanta) and started the drive back to Missouri. He drove the Explorer and I sacrificed and drove the 2005 Mustang GT. I started the trip with the top down...but it got too cold after a couple of hours. The rest of the trip was with the top up. We stayed the night in Kentucky and then we finished the rest of the trip on Saturday.

My dad is now staying with us on the weekends and working in Omaha during the week. It is nice to have him around. He taught me how to make home-made noodles...for chicken noodle soup! Yum!

I went to the Phantom of the Opera this week. It was an outstanding performance. I had not seen the Broadway musical before, but I know the music well. It was great.

Other than that, I would have to say that we are blessed. Good things have happened since our crazy February. We know that the Lord is mindful of us and that he is blessing us. We are grateful for our family and friends.
