Fall in Kansas City
Fall is in full swing here in Kansas City and it is breathtaking! The colors on the trees are amazing. Last weekend was the best. Now a lot of the leaves are falling, but even that makes me happy. I love the smell of the leaves on the ground. I went for a walk tonight and just inhaled the rustic smell of the leaves. The weather has been nice so we have been able to enjoy the fall colors and smells even more. I am not ready for winter...but I love all four seasons for the variety they provide. I did not take a picture, because I knew that the picture would not capture the true beauty...just imagine trees of every color, red, yellow, a hint of green still left and orange! I feel like this year more than any other I have really noticed the trees each day as they changed and enjoyed watching the process. I am not sure what this says about me...but the vivid colors and sights that I have seen this fall have been captured in my mind...I will be able to pull them out on drab, gray, nasty winter days and remember that each season has beauty and this fall has been on to remember.
