Life has been crazy. Summer began for me on May 29th (technically)...but I would call today my first real day of summer. After school was over I was busy saying goodbye to really great friends who were moving and getting ready for girls camp. Camp was from June 9-June 13. I got back yesterday. It was a great success. I will write about it on a later post. The days between May 29th and June 9th were filled with me trying to relax my back and answering emails and making chore lists and other things for girls camp. I felt like I was working full-time because I would work when I woke up and then all day...until I went to bed. The preparation paid off because everything...pretty much ran smoothly...until I had to make decisions about where everyone would go if the sirens went off because a tornadoe might head our direction...that was not planned but I was able to figure things out...130 people were supposed to be stuffed in the cinderblock building where the showers/bathrooms are...not very big...but that was our plan. No warnings ever came...but I had to have a plan!
Now I am home and exhausted! I am so tired I do not even want to answer the phone. I hope to be feeling better tomorrow. I will post more in the next few days.
Summer has finally started...and I am looking forward to a few lazy days by the pool and maybe actually having time to weed the flower bed.

yeah! glad for the update, glad camp went well, glad you will get to hang by the pool and spend some time with your flowers! (thankful you entertained and hosted my hubby!) MISS YOU!
I'm glad you're back! I was starting to wonder and worry about you! Glad you are done with school and your part-time job of girls camp. Now you can relax and enjoy!
Hooray for summer!! I'll have to call you because I stole my parent's Riss Lake pool key so we could go this summer. hehehe
