My brother on the new couch! He came to see us last weekend. I wanted everyone to know that we do hang out here in KC and this is proof. (Those pillows to do not belong on the couch.)
Okay, so here are the long awaited pictures of our new couch in the basement. I am on the hunt for pillows or for fabric for pillows...so it looks pretty plain. I really love the couch with the new paint color. I think that it looks very nice. You will notice the scrap piece of carpet that we put down there just to make it feel and look more "homey." We do not have an ottoman for the couch yet but we are looking for one. I will probably recover something to bring more color to the room and to the couch. We are using the Ottoman from the chair upstairs. We LOVE watching movies on the couch. We had the Holbrook's over a few weekends ago and we watched two movies. We were not crammed together...we were all pretty comfortable. The leather is soft and wipes off easily. The pillows, on the back, are attached with zippers. They can be zipped off and two people could comfortably sleep on both sections of the couch...like two twin beds. Everyone needs to come over and try out the new couch! That is an open invitation. (Bring a movie and some snacks!)

I LOVE IT!!! We're coming over for a movie...I make really really yummy homemade popcorn. Adrian will probably fall asleep on your new couch too...he's good at that! COngrats!
Oh, by the way, Juliette told me about how much she enjoyed eating grapes with you recently.
MARGARET!!!! This is just SO SO SO SO SO SO LOVELY! PERFECT even! I am gushing right now, and I REALLY wish that I could come sit on it...tonight! (that is why all my words are in CAPS!) oooowwwwhhhh...I have some ideas for pillow fabric...I'll will call you! WOW WOW WOW! I LOVE IT! and also love the idea of covering an ottoman, as opposed to buying a solid color! congrats on the new purchase! happy day!
I is about time! I have been waiting for a new post for quite some time! Yes the new couch is super comfy we love it!
cute! I so want to sit on it and lay on it and "watch" a movie or two (I don't think I have seen a movie in it's entirety at our house since I got pregnant). Come over and see my....new dresser. That is right, the one I have had since I was 9 is gone. Don't cry for me argentina. If I had a million dollars.....
LOVE IT! Can't wait to come and see it in person in less than 2 weeks! Like 10 days!
Love the new couches! I'm very jealous. I wouldn't mind napping on that fine piece of furniture.
