Mickey and Minnie Magic

Avery and Lydia had a magical time at Disneyland and they ask to go back on a daily basis. After arriving at our hotel we started to get ready to walk over to Disneyland. I assumed the girls would wear their outfits they wore on the plane. But once Lydia realized we were going to Disneyland, she insisted that she needed to put on her Minnie Mouse dress, just in case she met Minnie. So, both girls changed and off we went! (They wore their Minnie dresses two days in a row.)



Meeting Mickey Mouse was amazing for these girls. Avery was amazed, shy, and complimentary. She whispered in the sweetest voice, "Hi Mickey." "Mickey you are cute." She thought he was just the best. You will be able to see the wonder in her face in the pictures.
















Lydia was also excited to meet Mickey, but I think her experience with Minnie was the most magical. We waited in a long line to meet Mickey, so I decided that the next day we would be the first in line to meet Minnie. So we waited for Toontown to open. Pluto came out to greet us while they opened the gates...then we made a mad dash to Minnie's house. But, Minnie greeted us in the town square area! Lydia was so excited she ran to see Minnie. Minnie was excited that Lydia had on her dress, so she grabbed her hand and started skipping with her. I got Avery out of the stroller and Avery held her other hand and they skipped to Minnie's house. It was awesome.









I didn't think that I would be super excited to get autographs and hunt down the characters, but we ended up having a lot of fun finding the characters and getting their autographs. We didn't spend all our time doing this and we missed a lot that I would have liked to see, but we saw a good amount and it was fun!
