Zoo in July

We have a pass to the zoo. We really enjoy going when the weather is nice. It is unseasonably cool in the mid-west this week. The windows are open at my house right now. We went to the zoo yesterday with some friends and had a really great time. Everyone else in Kansas City also had the same idea and the zoo was packed! The animals were also enjoying the lovely weather.

Every time we go to the zoo we do something new and I love that! This time the girls fed the Lorikeets. They were both so brave and had fun feeding them. 

Avery stayed out...you are not supposed to touch the birds and I was worried that she would try to grab the birds.




We even got to ride the sky safari! At first both girls were hesitant, but we ended up having a lot of fun! Lydia kept asking to go again.
