We had a busy day. We had a breakfast with our neighbors the Hoaglands and Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Dave. Then we went to the parade in Parkville. The girls got so much candy and ate six or more suckers just while they watched the parade.
Then we went to see Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Dave's new house. We talked about the plans they have for their backyard. We got hungry after all of that and so we went out to lunch. We came home to Ben and Avery had a nap and Lydia and I prepped food for the BBQ later and we went swimming in our pool.
By 4 o'clock it was time to go to the BBQ. We loaded the car with everything and headed to the Painter's house. We celebrated with the Church's, the Muir's, the Grady's, and the Painter's. We had a lot of fun. We went swimming, we talked, we ate yummy BBQ food, the kids played, we watched fireworks...a lot of fireworks. It was a lot of fun! The weather was perfect. The company was even better. We had a lot of fun spending time as a family and with friends.
