Swim Lessons

Lydia has been to one round of swim lessons. She loves to be in the water, kick her feet and show her teacher all of her tricks. She needs to work on putting her face in the water and kicking her legs behind her to actually swim. She is good at floating on her back.

Watching my child learn a new skill has been kind of eye opening. I want my child to be successful. I also want my child to be proficient. Watching her struggle and learn is hard to watch, but I realize that it is all part of the process. Watching has also been good for me to know what she needs to work on and how I can help her.
