Family Night: Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins tonight. This is the first time that Ben and I have carved pumpkins together...ever and the first time with our kids. My mom paints amazing pumpkins, so we usually don't carve pumpkins...but I think it is good tradition. We had fun cutting, scraping and then drilling the pumpkins. We invited our neighbors over for the festivities. They even brought some of their own pumpkins. We had fun talking and designing our pumpkins. We really like the drilling affect. It is pretty easy to do and makes the pumpkins look awesome. We ended up with a mouse, a minion, Frankenstein, and just a classic Jack-o-lantern (the word Boo is on the back of the Jack-o-lantern).
