New Orleans

I decided to meet up with my sister, Liz, in NOLA at the end of April. I booked my ticket the day before I left. We had a great time together...just as sisters. We stayed up late talking, we explored this historic city together and we ate amazing food. (We stayed away from Bourbon Street...for good reason! Yuck!)
It was like a mini mecca trip for me, since I had worked at Jazz, a Louisiana Kitchen for five years, I felt like I needed to experience this place that I heard about for so long. I have eaten the food and loved it and listened to the music play of the jukebox over and over again.

I loved the architecture and the flowers. Reminded me of Europe.

Bought some things at the French Market. (Including a really cute skirt!)

The Navy was in town.

I hope to plan more sister weekends...with both of my sisters. It was refreshing to be together and was exactly what I needed during a busy time of year!
