Lydia turned one on November 28, 2010. We had a party for her at Oma and Opa's house. Family and friends came to celebrate this milestone with Lydia. The birthday banner was made by Oma and will be used for many years to come!
The food. Cake, cupcakes, fudge, chocolate covered strawberries and ice cream.
Lydia's own heart cake. The heart cake pans that we made the larger cake with were my grandma's and are 60 plus years old. So we kept with tradition and made a mini heart cake for
Lydia.
Lydia sat in her chair to open her presents.
Lydia received this baby doll and immediately started giving the baby kisses.
She got many great gifts. She will be learning her ABC's and cutting wooden fruit for many hours in days to come! The CAKE!
After the singing, we sat the cake in front of her. She started to check it out...
Then, she put both hands to work on the cake...
and picked up the entire thing! She was a big fan of the cake.
Messy girl.
Bath in the sink.
The after party...she put on her new boots and started to play. My little baby is quickly turning into a toddler!
