Lydia Luella Bailey

Lydia's room makeover!
Our neighbors came over and locked us out of the nursery for a few days. They did an amazing job. I knew that they were painting the animals on the canvas, but I did not know about the amazing tree that they painted, the other animals, the curtains and the lamp. They even set up the room. It was like trading spaces, but we did not have to do any work. They are great neighbors and we really appreciate them!
Look how cute...

Lydia was born on November 28, 2009 at 8:19 p.m.
She weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and was 20 inches long.
She was born with a lot of dark hair and pink skin.
We fell in love immediately!

Brand new little Lydia.

A worn out (but happy) mama.

The proud daddy!

The dogs welcome home their new sister.

Oma with Lydia.

Week old: Lydia and family went to get our Christmas tree. A tradition Ben and I started our first year of marriage and one that we really enjoy. It was mommy and Lydia's first big outing. We had a really great time...Lydia slept and kept warm next to mommy.

Husker Family. We watched the Huskers game on Saturday night together as a family. We dressed up for the occasion...Lydia also wore this to go and get the Christmas Tree...Baby's First Christmas outfit! Super cute!

Daddy and Lydia watching the game and eating yummy "Game Food" (Provided by great friends the Painters!!)

We are going straight to the root beer bottle...no need for the milk when you have root beer!

Allie...hanging out with Lydia.

Getting up with the baby has really been hard for these two...they are worn out!
