Craigslist

Craigslist should win some type of award. It is pretty awesome. We have been craigslist junkies over the last few weeks. Our dishwasher went out during the first part of June. Our dryer went out at the end of June so needless to say we were seeing the dollar signs add up pretty quick. We went to look at both of these appliances to buy them brand new...but that was going to be a lot of money...and we would have to wait and save. After an afternoon of drying everything on a drying rack or out in the sun...I decided that the dryer did not need to be new...just new to me. We found a nice gas dryer for $100 and bought it! We decided to wait on the dishwasher because I was nervous about getting the dishwasher used...but I changed my tune after washing each and every dish by hand for the last few months...so last night we found a dishwasher that was only two years old and bought it for $120. We also bought a pack-n-play off of craigslist...for my future nephew when he comes to visit, Stella and Tien (and any other baby that comes over and needs a place to sleep or hang out!). The Holbrook's come over often for dinner around Tien's bed time. Tien has been sleeping on the floor for the last few months and now that she is more mobile we would find her passed out next to the wall or near the dresser. So, we bought a little bed for when she comes to our house. It is pretty nice with all of the bells and whistles and had never been used. So, three cheers for craigslist! Hip, Hip, Hurray!
If you have never used craigslist...I would suggest checking it out. It is an online garage sale...so you do not have to get up at 7 am on Saturday morning to get the good deals! You can shop from the comfort of your own home...and sale too!

I agree Craig's list is the best. Thanks so much for the lipstick stores, I was afraid I would have to order online and they are two dollars more. It looks like you have had a great summer so far. Im jealouse you got to go see les.

I think the creators should get a Nobel Prize or something...since pretty much half my stuff is now from Craigslist. I have a small confession...I check craigslist as frequently as I check my blog...

sweet deals! I have sold some stuff on craigslist before...its so awesome! And kinda addicting. Once I started my husband was like, "whoah, why you selling that?" And I was like, "get up, I'm takin a picture!" haaha!

I'm a big fan of Craigslist. That's where I found my fridge. Not even a year old, and paid half of what the guy paid for it (he only used it to keep his beer and pickles). I also got my washer and dryer from there. Same guy. Ridiculously hot, so that was an added bonus.

Love Craigslist! I just sold the girls' dresser this week. I have no idea what the Melting Pot is but I'm game for anything with no kids and old friends! See you soon!
